The Appeal of Cow Lane

We asked Cow Lane residents what are the best things about Living on this sought after road

We asked some Cow Lane residents "What are the best things about Living on this sought after road?" And these are some of the things they had to say.......

There are so many local parks and woodland walks, it is greater for getting out and walking your dog - without having to drive anywhere. You can be walking around the lake at Wollaton Hall in around 30 mins on foot. If that is too much effort the the area itself is such a green environment with tree lined roads all around.

Accessibility was key for me. Living on Cow lane we are so close to Nottingham, but also Junction 25 of the M1. You can also get a train to London from Beeston station which is great for me, both for business and taking day trips with the family. Bramcote makes a great place to live if you work at Boots headquarters, University of Nottingham or The Queens Medical Centre.

Bramcote is only 4 miles from Nottingham but has some great restaurants nearby like Sat Baines, Cafe Royal, Frustrated Chef and Suda Deli.  A lot of people like The White Lion Pub, especially for a Sunday Lunch and the best bit is it is within weakling distance! Beeston town centre has just had the new cinema open and has some great new restaurants and bars around that including Beeston Social.

The School catchment for Cow Lane is extremely strong, being in the area for Fernwood, George Spencer and Bramcote CofE school. There are also Independant schools nearby such as Trent College, The Elms, Nottingham High School and Nottingham Girls High School all within 5 miles
