North Sands Developments has reached its first milestone with the completion of phase one of Mulberry Close, bringing four, five-bedroom detached properties to the market.

The scheme will see a total of seven, five-bedroom detached properties, ranging from 1,850 – 2,200 sq ft, once complete.

The three-storey homes, which range from £500,000 to £650,000, each offer a modern twist on classic Victorian architecture.

Richard Adams, director at North Sands Developments, said: “We are creating something very special at Mulberry Close. From the incredible location – which is just yards from Beeston Fields Drive, one of the most exclusive addresses in Nottinghamshire – to the absolute quality of the homes, where every detail has been considered and addressed to create the ultimate in luxury living –  Mulberry Close will be a stunning place to live.

“As a team, our extensive experience in creating luxurious homes, has showed us what modern homeowners are looking for; style, quality, space and location and Mulberry Close meets those demands. With plenty of space for families to spread out and enjoy, our detached homes, which have been exclusively designed to sit naturally next to the existing architecture in the area, will help to meet the growing demand for high-end family homes in Nottingham.

“Beeston continues to experience high residential demand and it’s no surprise with its vibrant town centre, being only minutes from Boots HQ, Queen’s Medical Centre, University of Nottingham, Wollaton Park and the M1, as well as its excellent public transport links from Beeston train station and multiple tram stops for Nottingham city centre.

“Our inspiration for Mulberry Close was to blend the traditional Victorian style seen in the most popular parts of Beeston with modern-day, executive, open-plan living with high quality products throughout. Considered additions such as the extra wide bi-fold doors which allow the natural light to flood in and enable natural movement between the in and outdoors and the extra wide hallways, ensure homeowners have optimum living space.

“We expect Mulberry Close to be very popular so advise interested parties to view at their earliest convenience.”

Peter Greenwood, of Greenwood Architects discusses the design of Mulberry Close, he said: “Our design approach was to provide unique new homes that were individual yet fitted well within their location, as well as to deliver the quality of design and contemporary interiors that address the requirements of modern families.

“The mid-20th Century properties that surround the development have themselves a comfortable relationship with traditional design values and we amplified this to include quality items such as stone detailing that enrich and harken to earlier periods of grand architectural design. Mulberry Close is effortlessly stylish.

“When designing Mulberry Close, attention to the conservation of energy and sustainability was naturally considered, carefully choosing materials that not only look beautiful but have an extended life and low maintenance – aspects appreciated by today’s home owners.”
